Sorrow – Raindancer

Garage producer Sorrow been smashing it as of late, but this new tune “Raindancer” might just be the best thing he’s ever done. Straight from the chopped samples that forge a segue into a bouncing, upbeat garagey tune that deviates slightly from his previous, comparatively more dark, efforts. I’ve got an endless amount of admiration for this guy’s production skills, and the use of samples – from flutes and violins to some unknown contraption which adds to that delicate and crunching percussive line.

It’s a track with a real dynamic of mixed emotion, and that’s only part of the reason why I love it so much. Gonna have this one on repeat for a while. No word on a release date as yet, but hopefully it’ll be soon.
